CLIA is funded by the Department of Justice Canada; the PEI Law Foundation, the Province of Prince Edward Island and through fundraising activities.

We receive donations from individuals who want to ensure all Islanders have access to legal information, referrals, and support.

Finally, CLIA undertakes projects funded by various foundations, government departments, or other funding sources to meet the needs of Islanders.
