Community Legal information Association of PEI, Inc. often called CLIA, is a registered charity that has been in operation since 1985. We provide information, referrals, and support on legal issues. Our goal is to give easy access to understandable and useful information about Canadian laws and the justice system.

Basic requirements:

  • An acceptable combination of education, skills and experience.
  • Strong financial management and planning ability.
  • Competence in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience in problem identification and response.
  • Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills in English.
  • Experience in a multi-faceted, demanding work environment.
  • Aptitude to absorb and use new and complex information quickly.
  • Ability to lead, collaborate and manage a staff team.
  • Access to reliable transportation.
  • Experience working with community and government organizations.
  • Skill in maintaining focus and confidentiality in an open office setting.
  • Experience dealing with people who may be upset and in crisis.
  • Interest in legal issues and community well-being.


  • Working knowledge of spoken and written French, and other languages.

Salary: $48,000-$60,000 (to be negotiated)
