http://www.seniorssafety.ca/ On this site you will find information about safety programs available to Island seniors in conjunction with the RCMP.
The purpose of the website is to provide isolated, vulnerable and community dwelling seniors with personal safety, home safety and health information.
This information is designed to help reduce:
- their fear of crime;
- their vulnerability to frauds and scams,
- their susceptibility to unscrupulous sales persons and contractors;
- and help reduce the possibility of abuse.
