Do-It-Yourself Power of Attorney Kit
A power of attorney is a legal document that gives another person the power to look after your financial and legal affairs if you cannot do this yourself or if you wish that person to do it for you. You can use this kit to make valid power of attorney documents as long as you are mentally competent. There must be a witness at the signing. Anyone signing as a witness must be 18 years of age or older and mentally competent. The witness cannot be the person named as the attorney or the spouse of the person named as the attorney.
