Family Law Workshop

The workshop was held on April 7th, 2009 at the Rodd Charlottetown.

While we expected and planned for only 30 participants, we had 45 participants arrive and take part. The response to our advertisements and to word of mouth was overwhelming. Most of our participants were from the Charlottetown area, but we had a significant number of registrations from Summerside and other areas of Prince County (7/30). 

In collaboration with Collins & Associates, CLIA conducted a three hour free workshop on Family Law. The topics covered included:

  • Custody & Access
  • Child Support
  • Spousal Support
  • Division of Property
  • Family Violence
  • Wills & Estates (as it pertains to custody and division of property)


Evaluations were very positive. Participants valued Greg Collins' openess to questions and the breadth of information covered in the session.  We hope to hold more sessions in the future.
