In April 2007 at the Provincial Safer Communities Workshop fifteen organizations indicated their support for endorsing the Provincial Safer Communities Framework and five organizations agreed to join the Advisory Committee to guide activities toward the Safer Communities goals. A process is now in place for any organization who supports the principles and goals of the Safer Communities Framework to sign-up. Those who endorse the Framework agree to have their organization's name listed on the Taking Stock website, to share information about activities that work toward Framework goals, to promote the Framework and distribute news, and participate in an annual event.
