Who Contributes to Safer Communities

Everyone contributes to safer communities and anyone who endorses the Provincial Safer Communities Framework can join the Circle of Partners - a Network for Safer Communities in PEI.

Roles and Responsibilities

A PEI Safer Communities Network is a knowledge and communication network where people can learn together and make links among activities to strengthen the impact for safer communities. As the network develops, partners may set priorities and increase joint planning for more comprehensive approaches.

PEI Safer Communities Advisory Group, with one representative from each sector, guides activities that help people from all sectors to work towards the Framework goals.

During the Taking Stock project, partners from each sector were members of the Management Group and Provincial Planning Group .
